We share the same values and strive for sustai- nability! With the help of Cirad and the support of WWF, Compagnie Fruitière is changing its agricultural practices with the aim to reduce the impact on the environment, mainly by reducing the use of fungicides, herbicides, insecticides & nematicides.

Initiatives that have been taken: Using field observations and meteorological

data to reduce foliar treatments and to avoid systematic preventive treatments

Using drones to enhance the accuracy of the aerial treatments and reduce the impact on the environment

Producing compost and looking for other organic alternatives that can substitute chemical products

Substituting insecticides by pheromone traps to fight against black weevil

Selecting and cultivating covercrop in order to remove herbicides and improve the quality of the soil in our plantations

Taking measures for reusing and recycling waste and reducing water use
